All rot was removed including replacing a supporting beam at amazing speed and a membrane placed between the walls and plasterboard. The tradesmen were very polite and a pleasure to have in our home.

The survey completed by Calum, who was polite, efficient and very knowledgeable. In the end, the issues turned out not to be as serious as first feared from the initial quote of the first trader, which was a relief. Although the work required could not be carried out by Mathesons Damp Services themselves, Calum offered some great advice and assured us he would get us some further information forwarded to us.

Damp Survey Quotation
Our damp surveyor will come out and survey the areas you have indicated need investigated. A quotation describing any remedial works will be sent out within 48 working hours along with a drawing of the area affected. If any remedial work by other trades needs completed prior to any of our work, this will be noted in the quotation.

Damp Survey report
Our damp surveyor will come out and survey the whole property and produce a written report along with photos, drawing and an estimate. This will normally be, although not exclusively, if it is a pre or post purchase scenario, and there may be a mortgage company or lawyer requesting sight of the report. The report will detail the cause of the issue, type of building, weather conditions on the day of survey. If any remedial work by other trades needs completed prior to any of our work, this will be noted in the report. This will be sent out within 72 working hours of the survey.
